A WORLD CUP XV FROM NEW ZEALAND

Some folks that correspond with me and read the site across that beloved ditch sent me their World Cup side last night,  much more balanced than the one I threw up yesterday morning.  Apparently it was voted on around the kitchen table over dinner,  and when mum was outvoted on Richie McCaw the chicken bones were almost brought into play as a weapon.  For very parochial Kiwi supporters,  it is an enormously balanced side,  so I thought I would air it in public too.

Driving to work yesterday I knew I should have remembered that Tongan destroyer at number 8,  and Delasau the Fijian winger,  and was reminded so pretty early in the day.
