QLD JUNIOR RUGBY UNION VS ACT JUNIOR RUGBY UNION,  Under 17's.

The Under 17's were the fourth and last match on our "Real Reds" sortie into NSW.  Not sure how these blokes pulled up with regards injuries and bumps and bruises,  but I think they were more likely to have been injured in the UFC championship that was going on in room 5 or 6 on each night of our stay in Narrabeen.  There was quite a deal of commotion coming from that room,  and given my discussions with some of the boys in that Under 17 side on Tallow Wrestling,  they know their stuff.  Some of the finishing moves that I was only lucky enough to hear about and not see,  also put some of these innovators in Tallow wrestling contention.  The only problem I see with them is that they are fit,  young and strong,  and definitely would be harder to handle than the proverbial crumbed sausage from the Pampas truckstop hotbox.

These boys seem comfortable playing from behind,  and they allowed ACT to score early and lead by 5 to nil,  but then mortgaged the rest of the points,  32 or 34 unanswered to round out the mission into enemy territory,  4 games,  4 wins,  and a pretty good time with zero issues.

The boys did play well,  and I was once again impressed with their forward pack,  haven't viewed the video yet,  but may tonight or tomorrow night,  but these guys had a great forward pack and backrow,  smart footballers that allowed the backs to play.

Some of the guys got to meet me,  and are now probably scarred for life,  Beachy being one I feel sorry for,  he is a genuine good guy and to rub shoulders with someone like me,  well who knows where that takes you.  Big old Bermo knows the ropes,  treats me with the disdain I deserve,  as did big Zac Dawson.

Well done to all the guys,  it was a great trip,  and you all carried yourselves extremely well,  professionally and courteously,  great job.

I have lots more to comment on as we go forward,  and pics to put up,  but I am but one,  so bear with me and check back occasionally.
